    Dr. Jay Cazes

    DDS, MAGD

    Dr. Jay Cazes received his degree in Biochemistry from the State University of Stony Brook. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University in 1990, before completing a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He also received advanced orthodontics training from the United States Dental Institute.

    The procedures that he most enjoys performing involve comprehensive smile makeovers, dental implant therapy, and endodontics (root canals.) Dr. Jay is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the America Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA).

    Dr. Jay is on the faculty at Practical Clinical Courses in Provo, Utah, where he teaches hands-on training courses for fellow dentists. He is also on the faculty of the Spear Study Club. He is an Attending Dentist at Morristown Hospital.

    Outside of work, Dr. Jay enjoys running and recreational bicycling on long-distance rides. He has completed the Grand Fondo in New Jersey a number of times, as well as the Princeton Century Ride and Revolutionary Ramble. He and Dr. Janice have two children that they enjoy spending time with.

    I had a wonderful experience as a new patient at Cazes Family Dentistry. Daphne was exceptional in helping me set everything up as a new person, Gina was really lovely (and filling in, so we both went through the newness together), and Dr. Janice Cazes couldn't have been nicer. No Notes.

    From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they always make me feel comfortable. I’ve had some bad dental experiences in the past, so I usually feel pretty nervous about dental work, but they are always so patient, helpful, and completely non-judgmental. They take the time to explain everything and genuinely care about your comfort. I would 100% recommend this office to anyone.

    Dr Jay and Dr Janice were extremely professional and friendly. They took me right in for an emergency. There extremely friendly staff couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. Great experience!!!

    Dr Janice, Dr Jay and their exceptional staff have been taking great care of my teeth/mouth for about a decade and cannot say enough about how wonderful this team is. No joke: I look forward to going to the dentist! Office is actually cozy. A cozy dentist office. Makes what could be a somewhat unpleasant experience really relaxed and comfortable. Trust them.
