Dr. Jay Cazes
DDS, MAGD
Dr. Jay Cazes received his degree in Biochemistry from the State University of Stony Brook. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University in 1990, before completing a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He also received advanced orthodontics training from the United States Dental Institute.
The procedures that he most enjoys performing involve comprehensive smile makeovers, dental implant therapy, and endodontics (root canals.) Dr. Jay is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the America Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA).
Dr. Jay is on the faculty at Practical Clinical Courses in Provo, Utah, where he teaches hands-on training courses for fellow dentists. He is also on the faculty of the Spear Study Club. He is an Attending Dentist at Morristown Hospital.
Outside of work, Dr. Jay enjoys running and recreational bicycling on long-distance rides. He has completed the Grand Fondo in New Jersey a number of times, as well as the Princeton Century Ride and Revolutionary Ramble. He and Dr. Janice have two children that they enjoy spending time with.

Highly recommend this office! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time and I was so nervous. I was immediately put at ease when greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly and caring. The hygienist was gentle explained everything she was doing to me and really made me feel comfortable. The dentist was knowledgeable had good bedside manner and was thorough in her examination. You can tell the entire staff really cares about their patients. You aren’t shamed or rushed. They take their time and their kindness and patience is appreciated. I wish I had seen them sooner 10/10.

I first used Dr Cazes in an urgent need when my own dentist was on leave. I received the best care, detailed explanations, referral to an endodontist same day. Follow up was the same quality treatment even though I was not a patient of that practice.
I switched my continuing care to her practice since she saw my condition from the first and have been very satisfied since. She strives to stay on top of the current methods and equipment in her practice.
Every staff member is pleasant and efficient.

I’ve always been nervous to go to the dentist, so I was pretty anxious going in. The office completely changed that as soon as I walked in the door. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to talk me through each step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time. I never felt rushed or anxious, which meant so much. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I have had 10 years of positive experiences and extensive work with Dr. Janice and Dr. Jay. I have a trust in their care that I had never previously had with other dentists or oral surgeons. They both take time to explain different options and include their patients input on the plan. I always felt at ease and comfortable throughout the process of root canals, crowns, implants, and routine care. The end result is always a healthier and aesthetic pleasing smile. The hygienist team and office staff are knowledgeable, diligent, and an absolute pleasure to interact with. I will and have previously recommended their services and will always be grateful to have found this practice. The care, the dental artistry, and years of experience of Dr. Janice & Dr. Jay are apparent in each visit and procedure.
